No one really knows where Silence came from.

She just sort of appeared one day, long ago, taking up residence in an area on the far edges of the marshlands. She is a hostile sort, usually treating other dragons with begrudging politeness at best. The only one she shows any remote kindness too is her adopted daughter Yatima, and even then she seems to barely tolerate her existence.

Despite her cold demeanor, she offers her services as a healer from time to time. Though coming to her is generally seen as a act of desperation; she is very harsh when dealing with patients and she will NOT tolerate any sniveling while in her presence.

There's also been rumors she's dabbled with far more.. darker magic in the past. Perhaps that's why she's decided to stay in such a secluded place.
