~Early life~

Noni, even at only 5 days old, was an obvious oddball and outcast. He held no interest in playing with his siblings, and it was common to find him curled up in a smaller corner of the lair by himself.

At the eve of a new month, the clan decided to clean the lair; this meant all of the hatchlings were to be outside, to stay out of the way. Most of the little ones stayed close to the designated caretaker, and played around the opening of the lair. Noni, not being one for such noise and energy, snuck off to find a place to nap.

Several hours passed by as he slept peacefully under an over hanging rock formation. When he woke up, it was pitch black, and he'd completely forgotten the route home.
