Isanne

Originally hailing from the Shifting Expanse, this Fae migrated westward after the dissolution of her clan. She found a home amongst the ranks of the mighty Guardian Hatchet and his graceful Skydancer mate, Kismet. Industrious and quick, Isanne's hard-working nature made her a key asset to the clan, who put her to work as a courier. By her quick wings, she sealed deals with other clans for goods and the shuffling of clan members, ferrying coins and treaties as she went. On particularly long journeys beyond the borders of the Windswept Plateau, Kismet issued a guard for the Fae. An Imperial from the clan named Dominic stepped up to the task, leaving the mercenary Imperial to shadow her on her longer journeys.

Amongst the Wind clan and in the company of the Imperial, Isanne slowly started to lose the strange, emotionless speech patterns of a Fae and became more animated, and communication between her and other dragons became less strained, though she still had animated use of her frills in most conversations, a hard habit to break. Strangely as well, she found herself developing extremely strong ties with Dominic, though the depths of such feelings she doesn't dare to explore. They are from two different worlds, and though their lives are intertwined, Isanne is certain they will never join.
