Biography
Am I not speaking the correct tongue, or did I not just say my way goes?
Born of two powerful generals, Chaleur had always been born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Traveling to Shadow to join the Plague circle as a blood mage, ClearSmog soon found himself saddled with a sassy-mouthed and snobbish but highly intelligent Skydancer and while the Imperial would (and has entertained) the thought of tearing out the child's spine, her immense knowledge that rivals FlameBurst's are precious to his conquest of the clan and hence he keeps her by his side. Chaleur, however, dislikes ClearSmog's hard-nosed way of doing things and always puts in the last word whenever possible. The Skydancer protects Bishop and Obscured in secret, however, after ClearSmog seized power: while she knows that the Imperial has no interest in harming the Ridgeback, Chaleur is smart enough to sense a possible power play eventually. She'd always pick the winning side, no matter where she goes- that was how her parents taught her.
She now no longer answers to ClearSmog, but to the young Imperial that came from her parents' court- Zucchero. The smart Skydancer has learnt to pander to her new master's needs, but deep down, she's seen the ruthless and unforgiving nature of the Imperial and knows better than to antagonize a powerful individual that she (currently) cannot beat. It doesn't necessarily mean that Chaleur is a sitting duck to Zucchero's whims- the Skydancer acts as a double agent for the Plague Circle. Ultimately, her allegiance will always remain with those who had raised her as their own: and Zucchero had picked the worst occasion to attempt to sway the Circle to his favor.
Chaleur was ok when her parents came visiting from Wind. She was not ok when they decided to make more siblings along the way. Laelius only laughed, while Tiberia told him to stop traumatizing their daughter like that. Defeated by GunkShot, she was cast into the pits with her master. She's desperate to clear his name- as diabolical as he was, Chaleur is certain that he would not be dense enough to openly commit treason. She's joined with the shambles of what remains of Camelcase, the valiant warrior persistent in her endeavor to clear her master's name and reinstate the original order. This was not to be when VenomDrench got his paws on her. Chaleur's magic burst through her white scales, thousands of eyes now rippling from her hide as she seeks vengeance on the Fae that made her the monster.
She can't convince her parents that despite the extra eyes, she's fine. After taking in LiquidOoze, she continues to watch, biding her time and continuing her friend's legacy. Now her parents (actually just her dad) is asking if she's sleeping with LiquidOoze. Chaleur just looks into the camera as if she's on Sornieth's version of The Office.
