I was never one for pretenders, Everything I tried to be just wouldn't settle in.

Cerin guards Eldan with a heightened sense of purpose. He feels that he only exists to protect the Nocturne Lord, because he was raised to think so. He doesn't know his parents, and although he was raised by the group that Guards other Nobles, he feels like the only family he has is within himself and Narwa. At one time, he journeyed with the other Wildclaw after leaving the Guard's group thinking it was his calling: but finding Eldan surrounded by his dead family he knew what he had to do.
