Of the Gaolers living in the Forgotten City, few ever joined an order, and even fewer still serve it. Angel is a seeker, yet no shade-touched dragon would have have to fear her inside the city, no matter how vile and twisted they may be. So long as they stay within the boundaries of the city, she will consider them to be contained. It is only if one tries to leave that she fulfills her duty, dragging them back to pick their brains (usually not literally), questioning and studying the corrupted in detail.

Few of them have ever tried to leave again after they were caught by her.

When not subjecting shade-touched to her experiments, Angel loves to spend time in the library, interviewing the head librarian until their patience runs dry and they cease to humor her curiosity. She also tends to a small garden,
