Adventure
The Cave was so dark nothing seemed to exist outside of it. Nothing but blackness engulfed Lee as he entered. As impossible as it seemed it was so dark it cut off all sound, leaving him in deafening silence. His heart began to race and his brow prickled with sweat. What in the world was this dark magic? Lee walked deeper into the cave, feeling his way into the Darkness. He silently cursed himself for not bringing a lantern. His claws brushed against the walls, feeling the rough and cold rock that surrounded him. Then... He touched something different. It was still cold, but smooth, glossy. What is this? He dropped his pack and began to paw through it, begging the gods for a lantern. At last he found one, small and glass with just enough oil for an hour or so. He lit it with his flint, and suddenly the cave burst into fabulous color. Gems and jewels of all colors, shapes and sizes adorned the walls. Sparkling in his eyes, reflecting against his scales. "Oh..." He breathed. Never in his life had he seen anything so beautiful. So alluring. Smiling, Lee began digging through his pack once more for his pick. He mined for a few hours, piling up jewels and gems of all kinds. Sapphires, rubies and diamonds aplenty, and a few others of many colors he did not know. He would return home successfully. And tell the story of the jeweled cave a thousand times or more in the future, and of course he would spice it up a bit. Perhaps he would add bandits or a Winter Wolf attack just to keep them coming for more. Lee grinned wildly, lifting his gem filled sacks upon his back and headed north, rehearsing his new, juicier story in his head, ready to tell all of his clan memebers all about his wolf pack attack, bandit fighting, jewel discovery.
