Biography

With the introduction of the Sealed Abomination into the lair, Paladin sought fervently a way to escape the Imperial curse. He was already 'replaced' by That Machine ... he saw the way the thing smiled at him when it knew no one was watching, more a baring of jagged metal shards, then something holding any actual emotion. He would not risk what horrific fate would await him should he be gotten rid of as he is, and as such, acquired the means to change his base form.

At first, he felt exalted! The glowing power of Light still came to his clawtips and circled round his form. But then soon felt a clawing coldness seeping up his limbs, and fear gripped his heart.

As he looked upon himself in despair, mocking laughter echoed from the dark and empty halls that the Sealed claimed as its own, punctuating the sense of futility of his actions.

Even with a body that would no longer risk an Emperor, Lightweaver's curse had not left him.
