In his youth, Goliad has earned a reputation for combativeness. The young ridgeback originated from a large Plague clan and true to the nature of his flight, was prone to acts of violence towards his siblings and clanmates. Before long, he left his birth clan in search of adventure or a challenge - his current clan simply couldn't sate his aggression. He wandered Sornieth, but the boy was still so young and vulnerable - he found himself growing hungry and unable to hunt any substantial food items. Reprieve came in the form of Cosmonaut, who discovered the boy in his state of weakness. At first he challenged her, unwilling to lay down before another dragon, let alone a female. Cosmonaut was quick to put him in his place, though she admired his resolve. Goliad begrudgingly accepted her offer of food and a home.

Though he is still young, Goliad has a promising future. He is currently being trained by Aphelion to fight. Goliad is an arrogant and cocky jerk, and has a habit of running his mouth even when his opponents are larger than him. He seems to completely lack a filter and is somewhat socially impaired, having difficulty making friends. When paired with fellow youths Siberian and Arcblaze, Goliad comprises the brawn of the group and is notably more agreeable in their presence.
