Biography
Marinus doesn't feel like his family abandoned him immediately after birth and instead feels like they were just letting him go, like it was a nicer way of being fired.
Instead of being in the auction house for days though Marinus got bought pretty quickly, probably because he was a water dragon born during the elemental festival.
Due to thinking his element gave him a loving home, Marinus proudly still thinks of himself as a water dragon and is filled with pride for his elemental and sees himself as a sort of ambassador in this plague lair.
He feels a close connection with the family who took him in though even though he is proud of being part of the water. He is very friendly towards his water sprite who was born around the same time he was and he considers the sprite to be more like a sister than a pet.
His personality around his new lairmates is that of an optimistically shining one, forever happy and always looking on the bright side of things. This causes trouble between him and Zila, who thinks he is the most annoying thing she's ever met, but he mostly feels sorry for her and wishes to cheer her up and make her happier.
He was reborn as a new dragon.
