Biography
Quote:
It does not move amongst the stones: no, your eyes deceive you. It is the stones, you see--yes, now you do see it--it is the stones entirely; it is the buckled and hardened hide in monstrous tumorous growths; it is the ugly crystalline spines of some violent and unholy discharge; it is the jagged, shattered cysts. The thing moves stiffly, a grinding sound like mountains shifting in their sleep. Its talons flex stiffly, glimmering quartzy nests of horror.
Yes, it sees you. Only its eyes seem right: fiery and alert.
Only its mouth seems alive: wet and stretched and hungering.

Though not native to Plague, Yadon has found a place for himself in the clan's tightly-knit religious cadre as the right hand, bodyguard, and sometimes-consort of its high priestess Myasthenia. He is quite proud of this: a dragon with no past, and, as he had thought when he first came to the Wastelands and began to succumb to sickness, no future either, it has not been an easy path. Rendered a massive heavyweight by the changes wrought on his body by poison and disease, Yadon resembles golem of living stone more than a dragon anymore, and while he is not quick any fight is quickly ended if he is able to close with his opponent and bring his nearly impenetrable armor of stony growths and crushing mass to bear.
While his dedication to the Plaguebringer (perhaps, some say--though never too loudly--more to Myasthenia herself) is complete, he has not forgotten his roots and does also have a small and inobtrusive shrine to the ancient Flamecaller tucked away in the corner of his lair. When questioned on this, he does not shrink from it, nor hesitate to say that it was the Flamecaller whose will first forged him into one strong enough to survive the Plaguebringer's blessings. For now--perhaps because of his associations--this has been enough to handwave a practice otherwise not tolerated in Delphi's borders.
One of the clan's more grotesque examples of onyx cobra venom reaction, Yadon's condition has been a matter of some interest for a while, and he has spent a good amount of time in the labs not seeking a cure, but rather having it studied for further understanding of the substance and its properties. The knowledge gleaned from his condition was critical in the advancement of several of Delphi's currently active strains, and the resultant projects. In a very real sense, once could think of him as the 'father' of projects such as Imperious and Heights.
Recently, Yadon has spent time with the research labs as well, having his body shored up against the unceasing advance of his disease.

Exalting Yadon to the service of the Plaguebringer will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
