Aerya

Aerya was alone, going from clan to clan on Sornieth. She has had children, grand-children, great-grandchildren. From the Southern Icefields to the Emberglow hearth, the old Pearlcatcher wandered, looking for purpose. At her side was a wolf, a familiar that had refused to leave her and she gave up and let the beast protect her from other beasts that don't eat plants.

So many of her descendants, her blood, had gone on to serve many of the deities. It was while grazing on the Emberglow Hearth that she met two other Pearlcatchers, children to her.

A just come adult female and a mature male. Whimshadow and Shinedagger spoke to the elder lady. Particularly Shinedagger, who was fascinated with the shine of her. Aerya, with no reason not to, followed the two younger Pearls home to their clan, a mixed bag of the likes Aerya had never seen before.

Her bones hurting and her mane and tail poof having some gray to them, Aerya stayed, the warmth of the fire feeling good despite her being an Ice dragon. She's happy to provide advice and knowledge to her clan, far older than even the clan's founders, as long as the youth will listen to her. And maybe, despite all the descendants she already has in honor, she might be willing to have a few more children to be with her in her senior years.

What's age but a number, after all? She's not ready to admit it, but catching the eye of a young male is just a bit flattering to the elder lady. Like the recently mature young Guardian Bauble. Maybe a mistake, maybe a moment of insanity, but now the elder Pearlcatcher finds herself again expecting children. But likely children that won't stay.
