3992.png 		She had seen the future, many times. Such is the gift of the Tidelord, bestowed upon only the greatest children of his domain. No one knew why Sard had been chosen to bear it, but still every pool of water swirled with truths and warnings of things to come for her... Sardonyx hated her gift. As a hatchling she felt she had the weight of the world on her wings- She saw great clans rise and fall, she saw suffering and war in all its forms. She tried to ignore it and get on with being a child, frolicking in the pools of the Tsunami Flats with her siblings, catching the Tidelord's prophecies that bubbled up from The Spiral Keep, but every time she looked into the water around her island all the strife in the world would wash over her infantile mind. She hated it. She quickly became terrified of even looking out to sea.
She ran away to Dragonhome as soon as she could fly. Her mother had sung praises to her homeland, where she would raise plants in the rocky caves with her nature magics- Not for the fact that it was the grounds her ancestors roamed, but for the fact there was no water.
She joined up with a clan her visions had spoke of for a while, and became a great forager in her time there. She guesses she may have inherited a little of her mother's nature magic herself- even in the barren lands of her new home she could come back with baskets of delicious plants for the clan.
