AURA

Raised on the northernmost end of the Snowsquall Tundra, Aura grew up under the watchful eye of her birth parents, who were as protective as they were loving. This protectiveness had an adverse effect on the headstrong hatchling, and gave birth to a decidedly rebellious adolescence. Resenting her perceived lack of freedoms, a young Aura ventured far out onto the Frigid Floes, carelessly leaping from sheet to sheet. In an instant, the outing took a turn for the tragic as Aura slipped into the icy depths; carried into the territory of the Arcanist by the merciless currents, the last thing she saw before losing consciousness was a series of indecipherable runes and a blinding flash of purple light.

Since her fateful accident, Aura has had an unusual and unexplained connection to the arcane, always seeming to know how and when future events will occur. Presumably, this gift was bestowed upon her during the time she lost in her unconsciousness, but it is unlikely that she will ever uncover why she was given the ability of Sight. Choosing to view her talent as a gift rather than a curse, Aura spent much of her young adult life traveling Sornieth, offering her knowledge of the future in exchange for food, a lair, and the chance to learn about different cultures. After discovering the equally unique dragons of Parthenon Hill, Aura decided to become the permanent oracle and astronomer of her newfound clan.
