Myria's Story I

Myria had a lot of history with many people. There was the fossil thing in Earth Flight; that was off the table. The whole Creampuff ordeal in Arcane made that a no-go. Shame she liked the arcane dragons. Plague was off the table; that place was a downer anyway. Fire, she had fun there, the people were fun to mess with, but if they caught her, she might end up as fuel for their forges or worse. She was still shocked that she had managed to make the Water Flight members so angry; they were mad; very mad. She hadn't been to Light Flight yet. It was pretty close too.

Alright, Light it was! But before that, she needed to make some changes, a couple of gene changes and a breed change, maybe? She was going to have fun with this! Only close friends would recognize her after this.

The change to a Nocturne was perfect! It suited her well; apparently, she was a bit different from the natural-born nocturnes, as they mimicked those around them, but other than that, no one would know she was ever a fae.

She was at the start of her trek to the Light Flight when she realized; she hadn't brought snacks! She didn't want to go back now; she would fly low to try and find someone with sweets! They wouldn't even notice that they were missing.

She had been flying for hours and hadn't caught a whiff of a single candy! The Light Territories were open compared to the Shadow Territories, not great, but workable. She was in a marsh that reached into the Light Flight from the Shadow Flight. The border wasn't enforced here due to the dangers of traversing the marsh on foot; of course, there were still Arial patrols from various light clans and the Lightweaver's servants, so she needed to fly pretty low, some might say dangerously so. She was small, and an ace at flying at lower altitudes; maybe not the fastest but her turns were quick enough that no beastclan members or trees would knock her out of the sky.

It wasn't her fault that she didn't think that there might be some crazed Light Zelots roaming near the heart of the swamp; the stupid thing didn't make sense anyway; every turn seemed to lead her back to where she started. She flew as wild as she could, taking sudden and dangerous turns in an attempt to lose them. Then she caught a whiff of something odd, some kind of chocolate orange? She wasn't sure if they were still chasing her, but maybe the dragon with the food might help her? Not all Light dragons were so, Zelous, her close friend Octavian hadn't been.

She remembered a blur of yellow, then nothing. From what she had gathered she had crashed into a yellow Pearlcatcher and passed out. The Pearlcatcher was still out cold. There were two Snapper Hatchlings as well, they seemed to be where the smell was coming from, but they didn't seem to be carrying anything.
