Biography
The first thing a dragon learns about Rutherienne is that she is a very good healer. The second thing a dragon learns about Rutherienne is that she will not tolerate dragonshit. The third thing a dragon learns about Rutherienne is that she will not tolerate their dragonshit.
"Damn and blast, what did you think was going to happen?" she grumbles while examining the foul-smelling ooze leaking from the very angry wound on Ruby's left flank. "'Oh, it's just a scratch, I'll get over it'? What do you think I'm here for? I'm not here to play a cute and fluffy lair ornament! I'm here to heal your blasted tail, unless you don't want it. In that case, I'll be happy to let it rot off your body. Go ahead, I won't interfere."
Dragons unfamiliar with Ru are often taken back by her attitude, given her rather small size and her, well, friendly fluffy appearance. As such they expect her to be a harsh, rough healer but she often surprises them again with her careful and considerate handling of their injuries. Of course the entire time she's examining and healing the wounds she's reaming their tails out for never coming to her immediately.
As a result, many of the clan's battle dragons either try to mend the wounds themselves or seek out Ani, who has regenerative ability but not Ru's expertise and knowledge. This results in - in Tiamat's opinion - more hilarity, especially when she viciously scolds either one or both of the clan's elite battle dragons.
"This looks like a Radioactive Slime bound it! Do you want to be grounded from combat? Because I will, Ti's given me the authority to do it. Oh, Sam did it? I don't care if the Stormcatcher tried to patch you up; I'm the healer here and if you're hurt, you come to me!"
