Biography

The Ocean is too vast. Not all of it is bubbles and singing fish. Some of it is dark and putrefying. In those deep recesses of the Leviathan Trench there are caverns where only monsters live. If dragons try occupying them, making them their home, their property, they never remain the same beings. They change.
They become monsters.
Resistance is futile. No matter how strong of will a dragon is, no matter how powerful they are, they cannot ward themselves or their beloved from the evil spirits and the monsters that inhabit the deep waters.
And here she was born, the monster whose very skin had turned to stone, whose wings were one with the walls of her lifeless house and too heavy to ever fly. Maybe she had been someone else before, but she couldn't remember that.
Sometimes she would venture out, looking for prey to satiate her hunger. It was during these trips for survival that she met the bubbles.
Eating them was like going in the surface. It hurt, it hurt incredibly. But it was also beautiful.
She saw open skies, she saw dragons that could fly. She saw 'trees' and 'fire' and 'runestones'. She saw laughter and crying, and she saw love and birth and life that was not retricted to killing and lurking in wait.
And the pain was worth every second of it.
So when she went to the surface, struggling against the current with wings that were too heavy, she never came back.
