Pine was apart of the [NAME PENDING] clan, and was one of the first members to join it. As a guardian, she found a charge in the small forest of birches and pines the clan resided in, and gladly joined the clan that called it home. She protected the land from any threat that arose to it and the life that resided within it, from disease to hostile creatures. She and her clan were happy for many moons, until tragedy befell them. Rogues set the clan and its surroundings ablaze, killing and pillaging the small settlement. Pine and few others narrowly escaped with their lives; there was nothing they could do to save the home they had created. Pine lost apart of her soul along with her charge, and for a long time was extremely depressed and despondent.

The remaining clan members found refuge within Clan Enipsian, and with time and effort, Pine was able to regain her will and sense of self. She still mourns her home and charge, but she has found new life and a new clan who supports her.

Pine has become part of the clan guard, and takes great pride in her work. She is determined to never let what happened to her family happen again, and is particularly protective of her fellow ice dragons. When she spends much of her free time with Finn, and is slowly trying to help the fae realize that what happened was not his fault. Maybe in the meantime he can help her realize it also was not hers.

Pine can be seem very outwardly stoic because of her imposing form and her place on the clan guard, but she has a very kind heart and cares for others fiercely. She feels prideful to be apart of a clan that does so much good, and likes to think of her job as a second charge.
