Even the strongest of dragons need armor, and the forge provides it. It is the blacksmith's duty to create such pieces in solitude.

Position Creator of all armor and weaponry, Cinnabar spends much time working in metals. He cares for the fighters' armor with pride. Yes, they are strong but even the strongest dragons need apparel and weaponry. Perhaps those long hours in working through weaponry has led to that stoic, or bored, look that Cinnabar often has etched on his features. He develops a bond with each piece he makes and will often assign the apparel he designs and creates for the clan. After all, these are his precious things. He cannot just give it to anyone, after all. Bard has always been helplessly protective of his precious things... Personality Cinnabar, or Bard as the clan calls him, prefers to keep to himself. He often finds himself buried in solitary pursuits whether it be with his work or his self. Though people often are intimidated by his vibrant colors, Cinnabar is a relaxed dragon though be he dense. He lacks a thing dragons call a filter. Whether it is his sweet Laranja or other items, Cinnabar can go from zero to sixty in moments. Although possessive, Bard always had a hard time displaying affection for his mates. He doesn't know if it was because he didn't really love them... or if that was simply Bard. History Bard has always been a silent individual, but he has grown more stoic throughout the years. Raised by loving parents, Bard never really felt at home within their clan. The light of the Sunbeam Ruins was never to his liking, and when they relocated to the Spiral Keep of the Sea it drove him insane! Being a Coatl it was no surprise that he retained his fondness of fire, and it was that reason did he leave home to journey to the Ashfall Waste. He didn't get far though, and faulty directions ended him up in the Tangled Woods instead. Fortunately he found shelther, and eventually a home, in the Brambles. The Alpha offered him a position as the clan's blacksmith so that he may work at the forge, and Bard was more than happy to accept the offer. The fires of the forge were more than enough to satisfy him, and the shade of his new home was gladly received. Relationships Bard is quite proud to admit that he has his heart set on one dragon: a Fae by the name of Laranja. He always seems to make Bard's heart flutter when his tiny boyfriend comes around. They are currently in a relationship, one which Bard is quite proud of himself! Because of Laranja's size, Bard has his own fun in teasing him. Whether it is licking his cheek or teasing his sides, Bard can't resist catching Laranja's cheeks light in embarrassment. Perhaps it is something of an outlet for his sexual frustration for the Fae. He knows he's quite a bit larger than Laranja, but he craves to bond with him in that way. Until he is ready however, Bard will not push too hard. He has also developed some familiarity with Daemon and Thorne. Both Imperials have directly gone to him for new armor or repairs, and they have had a few pleasant conversations in their spare time.
