Sorrow had loved reading stories about noble knights and their heroic adventures since he was but a wee hatchling. His mother had whispered fairy tales about knights saving princesses from evil dragons and Emperors to her children, captivating them.

Sorrow began training his body and mind with his homeclan's warriors, becoming proficient in fighting with his claws, weapons and magic. One he was finished with his training he ventured out into the world to find his own princess to protect. He wandered around, seeing both the good and bad of Sornieth.

He became a protector of the weak, someone who stood up for those unable to do it themselves. His time spent travelling helped him grow up from the small, naïve child into a calm, strong knight. But he felt incomplete, as if someone was still waiting for him.

Then he met her, his princess, Lilith. Sorrow felt a pull towards her that he couldn’t explain. She was cold to him at first, but Sorrow preserved and was eventually allowed to stay by her side. He is fully devoted to her and would to anything for her. Time has made them grow closer; Lilith trusts Sorrow to protect her and Sorrow knows he has a home by her side.

He loves her dearly, heedless of the darkness she is submerged in. He will be her light, the good in her life, the one who will steer her from the dark, thorny roads of no return.

Sorrow is a down-to-earth dragon, but cannot help but dream and look at the good side of things. He’s quite the romantic and often goes out of his way to shower Lilith with little gifts, like fresh roses. Sorrow has a sweet spot for children. He’s very protective of anyone he considers his family, especially young dragons and dragons who cannot protect themselves. He can be quite grim and see the worst possibilities before the good ones, especially when stressed or tired.
