"The language in the dimmer rooms seems to represent its light source well; how soft they speak and seem to be at peace with the movement of the music and the madness that is pulling me into this." Unlike most of the dragons in Nocturne's lair, Byron is one of the few who willingly sought out a home amongst his clan. Originally from the land of the Shadowbinder, Byron was known as Brad in his past life. The clan he was from could hardly tolerate him, finding most of his ramblings and his overly romantic nature to be annoying. Under a tenuous leadership, when the clan finally fell apart, Brad left the land of Shadow to travel so he could work on perfecting his poetry. During his travels, he caught word of a fearsome dragon who collected other dragons because of how beautiful they were. Considering himself to be quite attractive indeed, Brad changed his name to Byron and went in pursuit of a lair he was surely going to fit in. Upon arriving, he wooed Nocturne immediately with his good looks and his ability to string words together in a beautiful fashion. It was then that he realized his great grandmother, Deepta, was also living amongst Nocturne's lair. Byron enjoys his new life in the land of Plague. He has entered into several illicit relationships with several of the females he has come to know, including Trauriges. Despite his affair with Nocturne's chosen mate, he believes in Nocturne's cause to beautify the Wasteland, and hopes he can add his own contribution and prove himself to the Plaguebringer. |
