Biography

Valentina had only one thought during much of her youth... to get away from all the pink. The Arcane clan she was born into was nothing but rosy-colored dragons as far as she could see, to the point that it was deeply unsettling the first time she attended an elemental holiday and realized that dragons came in different colors. Fascinated by the variety of the world, she began to loathe the pink colors of home and left to travel around Sornieth at a remarkably early age.

While she did experience new things in her journey and admire dragons of all colors and types, she also matured during that time and came to accept her own colors as a part of her heritage. She studied art and fashion from everywhere she travelled to, giving her a skeptical eye and keen sense of color theory and usage that makes her a tasteful and efficient decorator.

She settled with Sucellus and Arduinna when she met them on the longest stretch of her adventures, early in their group's establishment when they were trying to handle all of the needs of a trade town on their own. So she took over the management of their inn and its associated tavern, which she began to study cooking for.

Although Valentina runs her establishment in a serious fashion, she is a lighthearted and friendly individual who just wants to make sure everything is in order and running smoothly. She is quick to react in a crisis and always keeps a level head, but can get down and have fun with guests and clanmates when free to. She is assisted in her duties by a magical golem that she created as her familiar, and it is a flexible being capable of following orders to cook, clean, and moderate the inn and tavern while she is otherwise engaged.

Quite competent with instruments and able to carry a tune, Valentina often accompanies Hazeh in songs and ballads when the urge strikes her. The two unlikely friends have a faux hateful relationship, picking on each other and acting exasperated at the other's opposing personality traits. However, they are very close and rarely is that teasing and complaining done in earnest.
