Biography

Shortly after he and Cylyria formed their little clan, it was struggling. Nightsteel exalted himself to the Arcanist for the betterment of all. The plan worked and the Clan prospered, and eventually moved to join the ranks of the Stormcatcher.

Now, against all odds, Nightsteel has returned to the Clan that has honored his name for so long. He is changed almost beyond recognition and even has a new name but the soul that beats within his breast is the same and Cylyria is overjoyed that her first Beloved has returned to her. To most of the clan he is a mystery, for he speaks not of his time away to any but Cylyria, and she keeps his secrets well. But she makes certain that everyone showers him with the praise and adulation that is his due.

Vesper will forever bear the mark of the Arcanist but he is very happy to have come home at last.
