The Sun Worshiper, The Sand Thief



Bassol is a dragon who worships not the deities of his kin, but the sun itself and the ideology of a sun god. His carries with him at all times a pearl imbued with ancient runes detailing the creation of the lands by his god and the religion and beliefs of his people. He also wields a relic passed on by his forefathers, a cross that harbors fierce flames. He is a traveling preacher as well as a gifted thief, stealing what he must to sustain himself in the Land of Light.

The wise prophet came about the Windy Tunnels by accident, chatting avidly with a dragoness about his beliefs when he feel into the willows and straight into the lair of Hime's Clan. He was gobsmacked when dragons came to him, laughing and curious, taken aback that dragons had made their home underground. It was with much convincing Hime talked him into staying a night to rest, alongside the female dragon he had been conversing with before his fall, and during his short stay he fell in love with the dragons of the earthen lair. They heartily listen to his beliefs, be it sincerely or simply for a good story, he is thrilled to have others listen for whatever reason. His new home provides him disciples, room to worship, and the task of stealing from other nests to provide for his new family.

Lunette happened across Bassol during an outing to collect more bright, yellow trinkets for her ever expanding nest. She was drawn to the dragons vibrant, glowing hide and colorful words and was quick to introduce herself to the newcomer. She was struck with awe and interest when he acquainted himself and she was quick to offer him refuge with her Clan for a night. As they say, opposite attract. She enjoys the dark lair for she can provide guidance through the maze with her glowing scales, and he enjoy the rays of sun above where he can charge his own hide. They are seen together often, traveling above and below as they speak of the earth, the sun, the light and the dark. Some say she has taken to worshipping his god, while he worships her secretly is his goddess of the moon.
