Don't let his fluffy looks fool you. Hatake may look harmless, and his species' reputation may further encourage dragons to write him off as an useless ball of fur when it comes to combat, but underestimating him has never worked well for anybody.

Hatake is able to retain a very strategic and organized way of thinking even during battle. He can quickly adapt to both fighting alone without much of a backup, and being part of a team and utilizing everybody's abilities to the fullest. Hatake isn't a warrior as much as he's a guard, though. He won't attack unless something is threatening the dragons or things he's guarding - which currently means the Council of the clan - and even then his priority is getting them to safety as quickly as possible over having a glorious battle. The clan has dragons like Surma for that.

While not on duty, Hatake is polite enough, but prefers to withdraw from the busiest areas of the clan's lair system. He can be found having a deep conversation about defense details with Raziel, or about potent poisons with Nidalee, but he's neven been well-versed in idle chit-chat.


RELATIONSHIPS
  • It's common knowledge that at some point Hatake and Mishka had something going on
  • It's unclear whether they really are together anymore, or ever were, but few have dared to ask either of them. Wenla probably knows, but keeps it to herself
