Growing up with Sin the two were always close. The two had an incredibly close bond even after the separation of Lai's parents. Sin always comforted her and helped her keep her head held high. That was until Bola was brought into the clan and started training with the two girls. Lai was instantly smitten by the young nocturne and wanted to know everything about him. However he was more attached to Sin. She watched from the sidelines while a romance blossomed between the two. She stopped training to become a warrior and started her work as the clan's shaman. Listening to the grieving of others and giving them either advice or a potion to help them with their trouble anyway she can.Trying to forget about Bola she had a clutch with a Coatl however he soon disappeared as well.
Many years have passed and Sin, still trying to comfort her good friend, introduced Lai to Dahaki. A cream skydancer from the Light territories. Not being so easily convinced of the new male, she knew in her heart she wasnt over Bola.
From a distance she watched the skydancer interact with the clan. She watched him train and talk to the hatchlings. Slowly over time Lai's heart began to open up to him. A connection began to form the two skydancers and soon enough they've claimed each other and had their first hatchling together.
