CORVUS, known to all but a select few as The Crowcaller, serves as the ringmaster to the Aethernia, a small circus troupe of dragons based in the Tangled Woods. Corvus is not a particularly pleasant dragon to be around - he is aggressively blunt and superior, and his reclusive nature borders on misanthropic the vast majority of the time. Corvus is, nonetheless, almost universally respected, or feared, by his dragons due to his powerful dark magic. He is particularly adept at necromancy; in fact, several of the dragons in the Aethernia (Atrophy, Agony, and Michael) have been brought back by his hand, although some are more complete than others. He maintains an off-putting, morbid interest in the macabre, and seems to be at his happiest when he's working with a corpse.

Due to Corvus's abrasive nature, most of the social dealings of the Aethernia are handled by his second-in-command and bonded daemon, Lucine, who serves as the face of the group.
