Gamble came to the lair in Wispwillow Grove, following an invitation from Skyfall, who had met the Wildclaw during one of her daily gathering trips. Gamble then decided that, in order to feel truly at home, he needed a few Wildclaws around and brought in the siblings Chance, Hazard and Ace to keep him company.

He later met Wildcard, his mate and brought her to the clan as well.

If Gamble runs into a fellow Wildclaw, he is likely to extend an invitation to join the clan, a habit which his clanmates have learned to live with. In case this lair turns into something wildclaw-dominated... Gamble is to blame. Actually, Gamble is to blame for EVERYTHING.

He has a habit of collecting all things bright and shiny and resembles a magpie more than dragon. If anything goes missing, he's the one to ask... though he will probably keep it anyway. Much of the treasure he has gathered comes from the pockets and lairs of other dragons. Gamble spends many days and nights roaming the lands in search of pretty things to get his short arms on.

Gamble is one of the few dragons to have met Limbo and the two struck up a loose friendship based on their mutual hobby of sneaking up on people. Limbo taught Gamble many new tricks, so that the Wildclaw is continuously getting better and sneakier.
