To say Virae is a little eccentric is an understatement. The Fae often gets mistaken for having been breed-changed from a Spiral, because he has ENERGY. One minute he's here! Next minute he's there! Later on he's nowhere in sight and nobody has seen him for hours.

Having joined the clan almost right after Shade did, Virae is the oldest Fae in the clan, and very nearly the oldest dragon. He's still fairly young at heart though, and isn't afraid to show it. He'll try anything and everything, from testing the newest strange invention of Fiera's, to battling creatures with Hex for food, from just wizzing around the lair roof like he's on a sugar high. No matter what's going on, there's usually a pretty good chance that Virae's involved in some way, usually only because he stuck his nose into it.

He gets on well with everyone in the clan who isn't an introvert in some way (Arizona and Sunset in particular are annoyed by him), and delights in flying around with the Spirals. He can often be found darting about with them, and in the few times that he runs out of energy and falls asleep, it's usually right by the one's side. Fiera's offered before to let him become a Spiral, but Virae is content with being his strange, kooky self, and puzzling everyone else in sight.
