Liur is the healer for the clan and specializes in natural remedies and combating disease. While he does have magic to help with various ailments when needed, he prefers to strengthen his patients' bodies by having them utilize different potions, herbs, and stimulants rather than become reliant upon magic for successful results. He is adept at his job, and has a comforting but realistic bedside manner that occasionally brings dragons from other clans to their lair in search of his treatment.

He is particularly interesting for his unique coloration, a mixture of okapi stripes and mottled white from what is most likely a recessive genetic mutation. This effect is most startling when he removes his white healer's cowl, but is one of the reasons that he keeps it on almost constantly. He dislikes his appearance being commented on so much, after growing up with hearing it all the time, so prefers to keep its striations on his face obscured. Nevertheless, many regard it as his best feature.

He is a hobby artist in his spare time, and while he is not quite at the level of a professional such as Paintbrush he is proficient at anatomy studies and portrait sketches. His private lodging as well as medical office are decorated in his detailed pictures of skeletons and other body systems. Occasionally he gets commissioned by his clanmates and visitors, which he is always pleased to do for them but that takes a backseat priority to his healing practice.
