First of The Warrior Scribes, Greatest of Her Siblings Still Living

When the Library was still young and its numbers were few, Eladrin and Aine had a number of clutches, most if not all were called upon to the Lightweavers side for one reason or another. It was the second clutch however that Varaeya came into being, blessed by the Lightweaver with strength and a Duty she was the largest of her clutch. Perhaps this was why she went the path of her Father and became a warrior, leaving the safety of the Grand Library to explore and bring back knowledge in her Fathers stead.

It was on these sojurns that she came into contact with the one who would become her mate, Jad, a fisherman and sometimes pirate who would become entranced in her beauty and power to the point that he would... miraculously run into her time and time again with gifts of food and writing that he had procured in one way or another. Always would she deny the tribute and always would he return.

During the final stretches of her journey she came to a decision regarding the companion she had made;
One year and an day they would be engaged, if they could stand each-other still they would be married in name alone. For one year and an day they would travel as Husband and Wife and if they stayed true and faithful they would return to the Library and request the blessing of her Father.

Perhaps to the surprise of even herself, she fell for the rogue and after two years an two days, they returned to the Library and in the presence of her father and unknowingly the Constellations they were joined in the rites that joined them till they day the other passed.
