Rho
Rho is the unchallenged, and sometimes unwilling, matriarch of the clan. Easily one of the fairest and most level-minded dragons of the group, she is the matriarch by democratic vote rather than choice. She has a strong protective instinct, though her mirror spirit combined with her snapper tenacity creates an antsy need to move constantly. She never strays far from home and is most often found pacing predictable circuits through the ice fields, occasionally picking up stray - and sometimes half-frozen - creatures of a variety of species to bring back to warm by the forge. Rho protects her clan fiercely and would sooner die than allow any of them to be harmed. When dragons join her clan, it’s not so much her deciding to let them join as opposed to her allowing them to stay when they do not leave. Anybody is welcome to enter their clan to warm by the forge and, if necessary, seek out ways to manage the magic that permeates everything in the land they live in. While anybody can remain peacefully, that does not mean that they won’t be thrown out in a week or a month if they do one too many things that are deemed to be disruptive or harmful to those around them. The move from the western outskirts of the Hewn City was made out of grief, and the decision go to the icy south of Arcane territory was on the suggestion of Jaw. In the time it took to settle and move on, Rho found happiness again. The cold brought her many things in the forms of clan members and a new mate, Sigma. And one day, the cold brought back her lost love. |
