Biography

Born in the darkest of crags and raised by virtues of stone, Gargoyle claims his place as lord of Tungstate lair. Under the Earthshaker's guidance he seeks to earn but a portion of the might the ancient mountains of his homeland hold.

Since founding his group Gargoyle has dealt with both challenging trials and intriguing events. While he cannot claim to be the biggest, brightest or toughest dragon in Tungstate, his stone-solid resolve keeps the clan safe and deters most upstarts within the ranks.

Though his own character is cold, quiet and hard like rock, Gargoyle's leadership is more malleable than expected. He prefers the dragons of his domain to show respect rather than strict, unquestioning obedience.

The Buried Charge:
Gargoyle knew what his Charge was more quickly than most Guardians. It was never his clan because his Search never lead him to the dragons of Tungstate; they had come to him. Nor was it the clan's territory; something odd, perhaps instinctual, had always told the Guardian that Dragonhome belonged the Earthshaker. The Charge which drew Gargoyle in was a thing somewhat like himself. Strong and perhaps a bit cold, the Charge protected Gargoyle in the same way he protected it. Tungstate's leader enjoyed that.
But one day the chosen Charge became
dangerous. Instead of offering protection, the thing became a great hazard to Gargoyle's own health and arguably the safety of his clan. The Guardian recognized this peril instantly and for once in his life, his stone-solid demeanor was shaken. Some brazen and cowardly dragons from outside Tungstate even noticed this moment of exposure and loudly mocked the clan for it. Spurred by this, Gargoyle silenced the fools with a rare roar of warning. Soon after, he secluded himself from all dragonkind, even his clan, for days. He took a long look at his dangerous Charge, then buried it with a hot ferocity even the Flamecaller would fear.

No dragon is entirely sure if the Guardian still recognizes some type of connection to the buried Charge. Gargoyle's typical hard and quiet character seems unchanged though, even when asked about the thing he entombed deep under rock.
