Nana & Ninni

This specific dragon represents my dog, and the cat on her head represents my kitty Ninni.

Nana is already 13 years old but she's still full of energy, she loves playing outside. She's pretty small dog, she has pointy ears, and soft fur keeping her warm during cold winters. She has turned into a grandma, some fur under her nose is grey, her eyes have a bit of cataract in them and because her tense back she avoids jumping. There has been many adventures in her life. She has sailed the seas with me and my family, seen many islands and climbed up to huge mountains. We've been moving together to new homes, new places. She has even become friends with several cats. She has chased bunnies and squirrels in forests, met Santa Claus and played with frisbee so much her front teeth have worn out a bit.

Last year has been pretty difficult on Nana and me. We had a sudden vet visit in the spring when Nana passed out. It turned out Nana's heart isn't in its best condition anymore. We started medication and it's been working well. It has, however, made life harder for both of us, but I intend to enjoy the rest of the days I still have with her. She has made my life worth living, she's the love of my life.

Nana 17.8.2008 - 31.5.2022.

Ninni has always been a very small cat, she never grew up from her kitten size. She's a wild cat's pup but doesn't like outside world that much. She can get real playful with anything that moves. She's got many nicknames so far, for example: Toe killer (she grabs your toes at night if they're not safely under the blanket), Nipa (I don't remember where that came from but it's used more than her real name) and Chubby Batman (she has cute chubby cheeks).

She's got a great personality. She likes to stare at water flow in the bathroom floor, she doesn't even try to touch it, just sits right beside it and stares. She also likes to look at me when I go to sleep. Just sits there on the nightstand quietly and looks at me with her big yellow eyes. I don't know what's that about, but I found it cute. Ninni follows me around in the apartment, she doesn't usually care much for petting nor sleeping in lap, but she likes to be near all the time. She has her cuddling moments every now and then but mostly she likes to have her own space. I can totally relate to that.

My pets mean the world to me and I love them both so much.
