It's not quite how she imagined her future. She didn't fit Lightning's ideals, at least according to Nekane, and she seems equally at odds in Plague. Yet, she's encountered an odd allure in Neschume's faith - her rituals and prayers. She watches as the priestess celebrates life, beginnings, and endings, and begins to think that perhaps, there is some merit to it. She may find a role here yet. It saddens her however, that it took her mother's downfall - her absence - for her to begin to find herself.

Andraste doesn't like the Wyrmwound so far. It's harder to disguise oneself as part of the landscape when the native flora more closely resembles internal organs than the greenery she's accustomed to.

One of her oldest children, Andraste is a product of Nekane's first clutch; she is one of the few not moved onto a new clan or serving the Stormcatcher. A nurturing soul, the guardian is anything but weak, yeet she fits poorly in line with the clan's ideals.

It is a wonder sometimes why she remains a part of the clan - and especially why Nekane allows it. Perhaps it is out of a nostalgic remembrance for her guardian past or even the lasting imprints of a Charge, but Andraste is here to stay. Regardless, the fact remains that she is one of Nekane's few inconsistencies - and weaknesses.
