One of the co-founders and progenitors of the Light Runner clan, Neptun is a wanderer at heart. Though he and his first mate Hallow remain fond of each other, there are no binding ties between them, and Neptun is free to come and go as he pleases. In spite of this, he has proven to be a loyal clanmember and a stalwart supporter of his fellow Light Runners, always returning home no matter how far his journeys take him. And often with presents for the younger dragons.


Determined to make himself useful, Neptun has become an ambassador to outside clans, working to strengthen diplomatic ties and prevent misunderstandings where he can. He is all too familiar with Hallow's method of "negotiating" with other clans, and as her second-in-command, he has brokered an era of peace and prosperity for his fellow Light Runners.


Now that Hallow's daughter Anaideia has come to power, Neptun has begun to double as his an advisor to his "niece," offering her council and teaching her the ways of dragon clans from other lands. He feared that his advice would not be welcome, but Hallow's daughter has proven a more levelheaded matriarch, and Neptun enjoys speaking with the Mirror Queen, both regarding diplomacy and other, less stressful matters.

Though Neptun prefers words to claws, he is far from defenseless. As Hallow's second-in-command, he often accompanied her on raids into Beastclan territories, learning to channel Light magic and use it to strike down their foes, or heal his companions. With Tigereye on their team and serving as a solid Shadow counterbalance to his and Hallow's Light allegiances, they made a formidable trio. Together, the three will still strike out and plunder Beastclan territories. They have found many treasures together, though when it comes to training the younger dragons, Neptun and Hallow are the usual chaperones.


Neptun is a curious Fae by nature. Though nowhere near as studious a dragon as the likes of Argenta, he will pursue matters of personal interest to almost dangerous ends. Part of the reason why he is so willing to accompany Hallow and Tigereye into Beastclan territory is to dive deeper into his own magic, and learn all that he can through experience. The trio has not returned without their fair share of scratches, and had Neptun not taught himself healing magic, they may never have returned at all on a number of occasions.


He has become something of an apprentice to Baldwin, though that old dragon may call Neptun more of a nuisance than anything else. Still, swats and annoyed tail flicks directed at the tiny Fae aside, Neptun is determined to learn just what happened to the old Pearlcatcher. Neptun has enlisted Argenta's help to steal the transformed dragon's journal, and unlock the secrets of the Bogsneak mutagen. He's still a ways off from achieving that goal. Which, truth be told, may be for the best...
