Amaru
Uh*Ma*Roo - "Shining Serpent" Student | Scribe | Lost Prince
Backstory Brought to the clan shortly after his mate Aaliyah, Amaru is a very intelligent young dragon who has spent much of his time studying under Loras, and also assisting him with a project to create a library within Clan Unia's lair. As such, he and his master travel often to aquire scrolls wherever they can find them, following a careful budget that was laid out for them by Spirit Dawn. Often times, the scrolls are borrowed and copied, then returned as soon as the copying is complete. This is work that Amaru very much enjoys, as he loves to absorb the wisdom he finds in these scrolls while he copies them. He has led a happy, quiet life with Clan Unia, and gets along well with most of the members of the clan. They would describe him as a very deep dragon with a poetic soul who loves to listen to anything that anyone has to say in friendly conversations. When he is not nose deep in scrolls, he takes a very active interest in the different affairs of the clan, and tries his best to bring positivity to any situation that arises. As an adult dragon, Amaru could not remember his life before coming to Clan Unia. For quite some time, he would recall images of growing up in the nursery when asked about his childhood, while drawing a blank on what his parents and their clan were like. This all changed after one conversation with Minerva. She revealed to him that he is actually the crown prince of a Light clan that came under siege when Amaru was a hatchling. Many of the adult dragons were killed or fled for their lives to other clans, while most of the hatchlings were sold. Among the sold hatchlings were Amaru and Aaliyah. Knowing that he is a lost prince has left Amaru conflicted. He wears the crown because it was a gift, but to him, it is nothing more. He would be content to live out his days within Clan Unia, and finds great fulfillment as a student of Loras. However, his mate feels that they should seek to avenge and possibly rebuild their former clan. |
