Griever
"The Hoarder"
 Griever is the reason the clan has to continually expand their territory. She has a bit of a problem when it comes to hoarding. Unlike most dragons who obsess over one or two things, Griever obsesses over everything. Shiny things? Yes. Dull things? Of course. Green things? Her favorite. She collects anything and everything she can find. Griever is part of The Null’s Scavenger Team, lead by Schism. Of course this only fuels her obsession. Everything the team collects goes to Grievers hoard, and it’s her responsibility to sort it all out and decide how the clan’s resources are used. While she is incredibly possessive of her stuff, she never leaves the clan wanting, and makes sure everyone has what they need to do their jobs and live comfortably. Treasure is not a huge concern of hers, mostly because The Scavengers can find whatever the clan needs and rarely has to purchase anything. However she promises that if the clan ever got in a pinch for money, she would sell her stuff. Not everyone is convinced. In addition to her hoarding problem, Griever is also quite the fighter. She creates a noble facade, tricking everyone she meets into thinking she is refined and dignified, but threaten her, her hoard, or her family, and she turns into a savage, ruthless fiend. She follows no rules and fight just plain dirty. Those who have seen her in combat say it’s like someone flipped a switch. One moment she's having a peaceful conversation with them, and the next she’s tearing a hostile Wartoad to shreds. A Wartoad, all on her own, you ask? Yes, all on her own. Griever is not afraid to speak her mind and always calls it how she sees it. She’s sarcastic, cynical, and never in the mood to deal with anyone’s stupidity. She deadpans every quip and seems bored with nearly everything. Surprisingly, she gets along great with most everyone in the clan. She is in an open relationship with Ender, and loves him dearly. She even shares gifts from her hoard with him, something she never does with any other lover. Many see it as proof that she cares for him more than she cares for her hoard. They would be right. |
