Wind Priest
ritual attendant of the skytemple

{vor:eye:tay:oar:ith}

Every dragon has a place and a purpose in the bayou. Some earned theirs through endless labor while others were born to their titles. Voriteorith and his sister know nothing of their origins save for their parents' markings in their names. They were sold to the bayou as hatchlings and have grown into little more than temple slaves, at least from his point of view.

Voriteorith lacks the mystical conviction of his sister. He is a little more practical, quieter, more observant, scholarly one might say. He plays his part fully, from the outside a perfect cleric. Only inwardly does he muse and brood on the circumstances of his youth. He realizes mere luck fated him to be bathed in silks and sky instead of donning armor to fight for the territory.

That is not to say that he refuses to lounge in the lap of luxury, rather, he enjoys his rights to the fullest and flaunts his baubles, suavely attempting to lure lesser dragonesses to tend to his nests. He has not been particularly successful. Most females in the weyr assume his sister holds too much sway over him.. perhaps of an unnatural variety. They spend so much time together already, and she pierces him with such fierce stares when he dares to speak with other dragonesses.
