Biography
Orrin is the eccentric fae Varda bumped into when she was searching for a place to found her clan. Apparently he had flown too close to The Twisting Crescendo, and the whirling and impact that followed had left his memory rather hazy. He has always been very good at magic though, so he was able to take care of his physical injuries. The two realized they'd make a good team and decided to stick together.
Orrin is the best healer in the clan, so he is constantly busy patching up scarred hunters and hatchling knees alike. When Varda goes hunting, Orrin is there to assist her. One wouldn't describe the two as lovers - their relationship is more akin to friendship, based on mutual respect and understanding. They have had offspring together, but the decision has had more to do with expanding the clan rather than passion.
When he's not hunting with Varda, Orrin is very independent and mostly does his own thing without asking too much what others may think. He doesn't bother them, and they don't bother him.
Orrin doesn't talk much; like most faes he expresses his emotion through his crests, and since most clan members don't understand it, he has come to the conclusion that it's much faster to communicate via actions. Varda is one of the exceptions - she has learned to read Orrin's delicate body language intuitively after spending so much time with him, but she wouldn't know how to explain it to others.
