Born in the deepest part the Sea of a Thousand Currents, Hyetiana wandered for many weeks, hiding from the horrors of Leviathan Trench, until she reached calmer waters. There she met Canrum, a fellow parentless youngling surviving in the relative safety of the reefs. As they grew they stuck together, joining and leaving several clans, and raising a number of nests together, unable to settle as Hyetiana felt the call of The Search. They even crossed to the Sunbeam Ruins and swore allegiance to the Lightweaver for a time, but the tides called them back eventually, unsuited for a life in the sun without the sea.
sTDeVhI.png 		Returning to the Sea with a few dragons from their last clan, Hyetiana meditated in the surf for many weeks, hoping the Tidelord would speak to her, and give her sight to her Search. Eventually, in visions and whispers, she saw the future of where her search would end: with the blossoming of new life.

Now while her clan lives in the sprawling waters of the Prisma Reef, Hyetiana travels the waters of the world, brooding nests, raising young and waiting to find her charge.

Canrum is her oldest friend, having grown up with him wandering the world in search of her charge. They founded the clan of the Prisma Reef together, and while Canrum now spends more time on his special projects, Hyetiana often relies on him for council. 1046145p.png

40603706p.png Phoros is Hyetiana's First Consort, a talented sculptor who sought refuge at the Prisma Reef. While they have tended nests together, their relationship is more that of a patron and artist.

Kurinth is her Second Consort, hailing from a clan that was absorbed by the Prisma Reef. Kurinth is Hyetiana's chief diplomat, and is key to negotiating terrorial issues. 40658779p.png

40964858p.png Illium is her Third Consort, and although their alliance was purely political, they have become good friends.

Tethys is her daughter, who was sent off to find her own way very early in her life. Many years later Tethys encountered Splish beyond the Prisma Reef's borders, who immediately recognised her as one of Hyetiana's kin. The clans have since allied after negotiating to share some fishing grounds, but there has been no emotional mother/daughter reunion. Hyetiana respects Tethys as a warrior and that she has forged her own path, keeping her distance. Whether this is purely to respect her autonomy or because she's unsure how to interact with a hatchling she let lose on the tides, remains unclear. 11617672p.png

45753582p.png Caelum is her son who returned to the clan after years away, and Hyetiana is not sure what to make of his return. None of her hatchlings have ever stayed, and she has never been a nurturing maternal figure beyond their earliest days. Their relationship remains coloured by this tension.

Nahuala is the first grandchild born within the clan borders, and one of the first descendants she has ever taken an interest in, due to a prophesy surrounding her. Hyetiana knows the child is destined for great things. 86385103p.png
