Rivellon
Clan Matriarch,oDiplomat,oAmbassador

Rivellon's earliest memory is of cool strong hands cradling her close, keeping her safe. Hands of a Dryad.

Once she was old enough to understand, her foster Dryad family told her that they found her egg in the forest among the wreckage of an enormous and ancient Fae tree sap colony, and Sorrais' egg the day after on the other side of the debris. Her foster mother told her that the collapse felt as though it shook the entire forest. Some Fae sadly lost their lives that day, but to add to the tragedy was the fact that many eggs could not be carried out by their parents in time, and were crushed in the catastrophe. Her foster father expressed shock that any eggs survived.

Raised alongside Sorrais, the two small Fae had a unique perspective on the lifestyle of Dryads and their struggles with Dragonkind constantly expanding their territories deeper and further into the forests. As they grew older, Rivellon wanted to help her foster family so that they could live without the fear of a Dragon clan overtaking their territory or possibly harming them. She decided to learn all she could about the Beastclan's interactions with Dragonkind and determined to find a way to create peace. To that end, much of her adolescence was spent living with many different Beastclans as a sort of exchange student, studying their way of life, while Sorrais stayed with their adoptive family to learn more of their magic.

While travelling with a nomadic tribe of Centaurs three years after starting her journey, Rivellon received word that there had been another attack. This time, their family's grove had been torn apart, and Sorrais was gravely wounded. She raced home as fast as her wings and magic could take her.

Upon her arrival back home, there were many teary hugs from her parents who explained that they were fine and Sorrais would heal in time, but that he would never be able to see again. She rushed to his side and attempted to use her own magic to heal his eyes, but to no avail. Sorrais had always been a better spellcaster than she was, and so she had focused her attention on learning the art of diplomacy rather than compete with him. As she sat beside his sleeping form, overcome with guilt, she vowed to do everything in her power to achieve peace.

Rivellon strives towards that goal to this day.
