Biography

CURRENT BIO
North is a strange, quiet child. His origins are unknown; he was brought to the clan carried in the mouth of his Graveyard Guardian, Flowers. The lone Plague dragon in the clan, he's always been a bit of an outsider, to say the least. His adoptive parents, Damian and Garrin, try their best to help him live a regular life. But North faces many troubles for his young age.
Being a Plague dragon, his skin is unusually prone to festering and blistering. As such, he keeps his body wrapped in bandages to stop the inevitable bleeding from the raw parts of his skin. As he's growing, the festering's beginning to subside. However, it's still a part of his life he must deal with.
North is very quiet and calm. He prefers to read or write rather than explore or play. He's most at home with a book or a pencil, as living a sedentary life is much easier for him.
However, his best friend Regina thinks otherwise. The young Mirror is often dragged along for her misadventures outside the lair, and the two somehow manage to get into a lot of trouble together. And, in spite of all his protests, North secretly loves his adventures with her.
He gets along very well with the rest of the clan. Aleks and Russo play with him as well (and are often dragged into Regina's schemes along with him), and all the adults spend a lot of time with him.
Even though he sometimes feels like an outsider, he has a lot of people in his life telling him otherwise.

BIO ENTRY 1 (PAST)
North's introduction the the clan was and most likely always will be an enigma.
On a particularly muggy, foggy morning, a strange, foul-smelling creature lumbered up to the lair. To the surprise of everyone, it was a sliming, pustule-covered Graveyard Guardian. And clutched in its mouth was a tiny, wailing Mirror baby.
The clan, at first, was more than a little hesitant to let the two strange creatures into the lair. Freya was the most vocal, as she could see that these two wanderers were obviously of Plague inclination. She knew that bringing any Plague-affiliated creatures into her family's home was a sure way to bring sickness and death.
Usually, the clan has very vocal disagreements, but for once, no one spoke up in protest. Despite feeling guilty for turning away an obviously starving child and it's strange Familiar, no one felt safe letting such a disease-ridden pair into their home. Grell remained silent, Havok, Fuery, and Lito said nothing, and even Serah and Baron didn't speak out--they had their new children to think of. It looked like Grell and Havok were about to chase the pair off when Damian suddenly fluttered forward.
It had been many, many years since the clan found his egg abandoned in the Starfall Isles. As a young adult, he always wondered at what his life would've been like if his family hadn't taken him in. In a way, he saw himself in the tiny, writhing hatchling. Saw what he could've been. Damian refused to abandon the child.
Freya and Damian argued. It had been very a different case for the Nocturne, Freya argued, as he was Arcane and wouldn't bring disease with him. But Damian argued that not all Plague dragons were disease-riddled. Freya thought they shouldn't take that chance.
The two were at each other's throats. In the end, it came down to a vote; bring the putrid pair in to safety, or condemn a child to death.
Grell, Havok, Lito, Fuery, Damian, and even Serah voted to keep the pair. Only Baron and Freya voted against it. Much to Freya's fury and Baron's discomfort, Damian lead the Graveyard Guardian inside and began to tend to the creature and the hatchling.
Despite agreeing to let the creatures stay, no one was brave enough to approach them, aside from Damien himself. He personally nursed the child back to full health, and even began to take care of the Graveyard Guardian as well.
Damian did not get sick. He did not suffer from any disease. He eventually came to the conclusion that the pus the Graveyard Guardian secreted was what kept him healthy, made him immune to the rot and pestilence the two carried.
Damian named the tiny Mirror boy North. With the name came familiarity, and soon other members of the clan began to warm up.
The first was Serah, convinced being close to the Plague pair would ensure she'd be immune for when her children hatched. Next, Grell, then Lito, Baron, Havok, Fuery, and finally, Freya.
Within a few weeks, the pair were officially part of the clan.
Not much is known about North's personality at this time. He's still very young, definitely a baby. Damian is currently teaching him how to talk.
The Graveyard Guardian, who Grell affectionately named Flowers (due to the "lovely" scent) is still just as strange and puzzling as when she first arrived with North. From what the clan can gather, Flowers is something of North's own personal Guardian. She'll sometimes leave the lair and come back with rotting corpses for North to eat. She watches over the child diligently.
North soon lost the putrid stench associated with Plague Flight dragons, but Flowers did not. She still reeks of rotting flesh and mucus, so to combat that Damian constantly put sweet-smelling flowers all over her, braiding it into her fur and on her bones. They usually don't live for very long on the disease-ridden creature, so Damian has to replace the flowers often.
Even now, the clan still wonders about North's and Flower's origins. Where did they come from, and why did they leave? Who are North parents, and where are they? Why was a small Plague dragon left into the care of such a rare and powerful Familiar? These questions remain unanswered.
