Malcolm never could have made it in the Plaguelands. There's not a spark of cunning behind his dull red eyes -- only mild confusion as to why he's nigh constantly barfing up a thick black tar.

That, combined with his single-syllable vocabulary, make him a rather unpopular member of Eo's clan. For the most part, he keeps to himself, occasionally relaxing with other dragons originating in Plague clan who aren't so offended by his sickness. The matriarch herself makes sure to keep a kind, watchful eye on him, though. Even though he's neither intelligent nor talented in any particular skill besides generating foul-smelling liquids, he is genuinely grateful to her taking him in, and he tries his best to help out his new clan. It's just that his best... isn't very good.
