Background:
Caden grew up in the gated community of High Piltover, sheltered by the success of his parents. With few other children within High Piltover, Caden spent most of his free time beside his mother, a pioneering hextech researcher, in her laboratory. His father was a politician, whose name growing up was both a blessing and curse to the young boy, often garnering alienation from those his age. Still, his family proved happy and loving, and Cade would often accompany his father on hunting trips, learning how to properly wield a rifle.
At the age of thirteen, however, the security and protection of the gates of High Piltover and status of his parents was shattered when his father returned home gravely wounded, having been attacked in the street. He was left alone as his mother rushed his father to the hospital, and in an impulsive rage, he grabbed his father’s gun and hunted the criminal down. He gained notoriety for that act, and shortly thereafter he dedicated himself to making Piltover safe for all, not only the privileged. Within only a few years, at the age of twenty, he had earned the rank of Sheriff of Piltover.
Other Information:
Caden is a published novelist, having written an autobiography of sorts in Willing Apprehension. He also writes to de-stress, and enjoys literature of all kinds and having a particular fondness for theatre.
Caden has a love of tea, considering himself a conessuior of sorts. He enjoys exotic brews and maintains a garden at his own estate of various ingredients for his own.
Though admittedly flirtatious, the sheriff rarely finds himself pursuing romantic relationships, considering himself “married to his job” until further notice. In all actuality, his tendency towards being a workaholic has driven many potential lovers away.
Due to the aristocratic nature of his upbringing, Caden is classically trained in piano and is bilingual.
By his mother’s influence, Caden has a strong love of all things hextech, admitting that had he not pursued work as an officer of the law, he would have gladly become a scientist.
Beyond a high school diploma, Caden also has a Bachelors in Criminal Psychology, and finds psychology a captivating subject, though it also serves as a bad habit difficult to shed, as he often finds himself psychoanalyzing those close to him as much as he does criminals.
Caden has a particular fondness for sweets, often baking to relieve stress, as it reminds him of his childhood with his mother. He also makes a fine cook, priding himself in preparing meals for company.
Due to his tendency to overthink and overwork himself, Caden is an insomniac. To help himself sleep, he often partakes in a glass of wine and a nice book before bed.
