Kitsune is a guardian spirit, a force of nature given form and will by the eminent magic of the world to watch over and protect the area that had created it. He protected his land well, taking care of the animals that lived there and the beastclans that eventually arose from them. There, life was simple. There, he was needed. There, he was content.

And then the dragons came.

They killed his animals. They uprooted his plants and scoured his natural resources. They fought with the beastclans that had depended on him for protection. They stole his land and made it their own. And they moved on to inflict the same suffering to other lands. For this, Kitsune would never accept them. For this, he would never forgive.

He arrived to the clan one day along with twelve other dragons-who-were-not-dragons, promised something he will not say in return for his service and cooperation. Whatever his plans, the fact that he now lives among dragons, in dragon form, is nothing short of Kitsune's own personal hell.
