Hinoterez is the head warrior, or would be, if the Temple condoned such actions. In all technicality, Hinoterez runs a small booth just outside the temple. It could easily be confused with a vender's booth, if it weren't for the fact that the booth had a large banner that said ""Unofficial Temple Security"" over it. Battle-hardened and alert, Hinoterez keeps a close eye on all visitors to the temple, and screens every one briefly for weapons or other such destructive items before admitting them. As much as the residents of the temple hate to admit it, they need his protection. The Temple has come under fire of many hate groups that believe their practice to be slanderous. As the strongest resident, aside from the inexperienced Incarnates, Hinoterez has taken it upon himself to see to it that the Temple is well guarded. There's only one reason why he hasn't been driven away by now by Destiny herself, and the main reason why Hinoterez chose this specific group to guard - he's been having an illicit relationship with Destiny, the Head Priestess herself. They've had many accidental clutches, but fortunately (or perhaps unfortunately), they're rather easy to deal with for the secret couple at this point. Once the eggs are laid, they're removed and given to the nearest orphanage. As much as Hinoterez would love to settle down and have a proper relationship and family with Destiny, he simply loves the Pearlcatcher too much to try and pry her away from her work in the Temple. He understand that it means so much to her, and that if she ever had to choose, she'd be heartbroken. So for now, he's content being their guard dog and sneaking into her chambers at night. Hinoterez's company of warriors consists of Kree and Lulee, his parnter in crime and healer being Amelia, the Arcanist Incarnate. The mage and fighter are close as friends, Hinoterez having guarded Amelia and her clan back before Destiny came along. |
