Calm and deeply intuitive, Amaranthe seems to possess an almost-magical affinity with nature; he has a great love of flowers and the scenic outdoors, and can often be found sleeping by the lake nearby - often in a sweet-smelling patch of clover. Indeed, it's odd how whatever plants he touches seem to blossom or otherwise rejuvenate, but Amaranthe often puts this to good use by tending to the flowers in the clan's gardens, and harvesting the herbs grown there for use in poultices and other healing mixtures.

Although Amaranthe certainly has his fair share of admirers, he is naturally modest and unassuming, to the point of being mildly self-deprecating and overly apologetic at times. He tends to see the beauty and utmost best in everyone around him, and even the most angsty of companions would find it hard to maintain melancholy around his tranquility. However, when it comes to his own person, he often finds it harder to be optimistic, and as a result sometimes tends to doubt himself, much to the chagrin of his closest friends.
