A guardian without a charge is not considered a true dragon by his own kind. Most of them wither away if over time they can not find their charge. They become outcasts, desperately searching for that one thing that would complete the mand give them a purpose in this world.
Crann is different.
No-one quite knows where he hails from beyond the fact that his bright green eyes vote for the Nature territory. He doesn’t speak of his past, and he didn’t need to. Miracaelle brought him into her lair for his brutal nature, and she’ll come to regret it.
Even though, or perhaps because, he does not have a charge, Crann is no weakened withered away Guardian. Instead he seems twisted and bitter, crue land powerhungry, perhaps to compensate for what he does not have. Either way, depending on what he wants the dragons to view him as, he’s either highly respected or feared. Do not get in his way, or you’ll know how he disapproves of it.
Rumour has it that he has dark plans soon tob e executed. Tension within the clan is rising.
