Where Tidespiral protects the cave, Dapplebeam protects the dragons within it.
Quiet and rather shy, she has been known to making biting remarks when her patience is pushed too far, and tends to come off as uptight.
Since the loss of her mate, Dapples has thrown herself into her work. Even more secluded than she used to be, and even more snappish, she has nonetheless established a rapport with Tidespiral after many battles.
No one truly knows the reclusive dragon, nor how much they all owe her--she would sacrifice her life for any of her clan without a thought, and has tried a time or two, though she'd deny it if asked.
Any gratitude she's infrequently shown is met with a baffled frown and an impatient gesture. To Dapplebeam, it's just doing what she has to do. It's nothing remarkable.
